GREENPOINT — A set of potentially destructive tools were stolen from McGolrick Park last week during part of the green hub's recent rash of vandalism, cops said.

A pitchfork, cutting shear, weed whackers, bolt cutters and hand blower were all stolen from the park's shed last Wednesday night from the park's shed, a police report said.

A Parks Department employee, who reported the burglary, returned to the park Thursday morning to find the unknown suspect "damaged the doors to the shed and entered without authority or permission, and did remove the property and flee in an unknown direction."

In the wake of the recent theft and vandalism — and amidst a blackout in the park — cops have increased security "around the clock," the 94th Precinct's Detective James Bryan said.
