FORT GREENE — The General Greene won the battle with rodents.

Earlier this year a Health Department inspection found "evidence of mice" and "filth flies or food/refuse/sewage-associated flies" at the highly acclaimed Fort Greene staple.

Those two violations, along with five others, earned the local hot spot a C grade — Fort Greene's lowest restaurant grade.

But a recent inspection shows that mice and flies have left the building.

The General Greene's current critical violations include poorly refrigerated food and "food not protected from potential source of contamination."

The eatery still has a C grade, according to the Health Department's website.

The General Greene opened in 2008 as one of the nabe's first farm-to-table sensations and was called a "stellar example of New Brooklyn Cuisine," by New York magazine.

The General Greene did not respond to a call for comment.
