Man's Neck Slashed in Staten Island Fight, Cops Say

NEW YORK CITY — A man got 50 stitches after an argument outside a Staten Island hookah bar grew heated and his assailant knifed him in the neck, cops said.

The two men were fighting about 4 a.m. June 29 outside 101 Cafe, 10 Akron St. in Bulls Head, when one slashed the other and fled, according to the NYPD.

The 29-year-old victim was rushed to Richmond University Medical Center, where he was stitched up and released, police said.

The extent of the two men's relationship and the nature of their dispute was unclear.
