Cops Looking for Trio of Men Who Stole from Unlocked Cars on Staten Island

STATEN ISLAND — Cops are looking for three men who allegedly stole from a pair of unlocked cars parked near Staten Island's South Shore.

Police said the suspects struck on the evening of July 2 and morning of July 3, swiping property — including a credit card — from cars parked outside of 105 Peare Pl. and 132 Bennett Pl., off Hylan Boulevard.

A credit card taken during from one of the cars was later used to buy food at a restaurant in Elizabeth, N.J., according to police.

The suspects are described as in their early 20s, cops said.
