HELL'S KITCHEN — The Snack empire is expanding to Hell's Kitchen.

The Greek eatery that began with SoHo's tiny Snack restaurant in 1999 and grew with Snack Taverna in the West Village in 2003 will open a new restaurant in Hell's Kitchen in the fall, the owners said.

The 35-seat restaurant, also called Snack Taverna, will serve Greek treats such as lamb triangles, veal meatballs and grape leaves.

Co-owner Adam Greene said the Hell's Kitchen spot at 522 Ninth Ave. will have a laid-back vibe like the West Village eatery — despite its location just steps from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.

"It will be maybe a little more contemporary version, an updated version, but we're going to be doing something similar," Greene said.

Greene and his partners are applying for a liquor license for a full bar and will appear before Community Board 4's Business Licenses and Permits Committee July 9.

If all goes well, Greene said the spot should open for business in October or November.
