Man Robs Cypress Hills Tobacco Shop At Gunpoint, Cops Said

BROOKLYN — A man bashed his way into a closed Cypress Hills tobacco shop, robbing an employee inside it at gunpoint on June 25, cops said.

The suspect stood out front of 1 Stop Tobacco Shop, at 202 Jamaica Ave., before throwing up the rolling gate and bashing in the front door about 5 a.m., according to surveillance video released by the NYPD.

Once inside, he drew his gun on the clerk and ran off with a wad of cash, cops said.

Surveillance footage shows the man wearing a grey hoodie with black capri shorts.
