MIDTOWN — Hold on to your ironic hats.

A massive Urban Outfitters store is set to open in Herald Square this fall, one block north of Macy's, developer W&H Properties announced Tuesday.

The store, located at 1333 Broadway, between 35th and 36th streets, will measure 56,730 square feet across three floors, W&H said.

The firm did not release the cost of the 15-year lease, which was signed June 17, but the rental rate for the three floors together totaled nearly $9.6 million.

“This store will be a huge catalyst for this retail and office neighborhood extending north of Herald Square,” Anthony Malkin, president of Malkin Holdings, which supervises W&H's portfolio, said in a statement.

“The area has seen transformational changes over the past few years, as Broadway with its pedestrian arcades links Herald Square to Times Square, and Urban Outfitters will be a magnet for shoppers.”

The deal comes after a $71 million upgrade to 1333 Broadway, which included restoring the lobby, installing new elevators, and adding energy-efficient electrical and HVAC systems.

Urban Outfitters operates more than 130 stores in the United States, Canada and Europe, including 10 in New York City. The Herald Square shop will be the company's 11th location in the Big Apple.

Urban Outfitters did not immediately respond to an email for comment.
