BROOKLYN — A fire tore through a Flatlands home early Monday, leaving one person critically injured and another two hurt, an FDNY spokesman said.

The blaze erupted within the two story home at 1085 E. 53rd St., near Avenue H, about 2:40 a.m., according to the spokesman.

The critically injured casualty was rushed to Staten Island University Hospital, the FDNY representative said.

Two others suffered minor injuries and were taken to Kings County Hospital, the spokesman said.
