MANHATTAN CRIMINAL COURT —  A homeless man was found guilty on Tuesday of raping a 23-year-old woman on the side of the FDR Drive, officials said.

Andrey Ignatyev, 51, faces up to 25 years behind bars when he is sentenced in September on two first-degree felony charges, criminal sexual act and sexual abuse, according to the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.

“A young woman awoke into a nightmare — a sexual assault in progress,” DA Cyrus Vance Jr. said in a statement.

The victim told authorities that the last thing she remembers is drinking with a group of friends and taking a cab from a bar on Nov. 6, 2010, source said. She blacked out and later woke up outside the cab to Ignatyev sexually attacking her on FDR Drive near East 25th Street in Kips Bay.

Afterward, the victim managed to hail another taxi and was taken to a hospital.

NYPD launched a manhunt for Ignatyev and arrested him in April 2011.
