EAST WILLIAMSBURG — The borough's key lime pie-flavored marshmallows, Kombucha tea home brewing kits, kale chips, jerky, beer and popsicles are uniting under one roof for a day in a Williamsburg warehouse — and anyone can step inside.

Brooklyn's first food and drink trade show — called Brooklyn Eats and hosted by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and the site Edible — features more than 100 established and young vendors along with cooking demos and culinary speakers.

And the free daylong event on Flushing Avenue — with talks by renowned chocolatier "Mr. Chocolate" Jacques Torres and by the publisher of Edible Brooklyn — is already drawing such hype that some new local entrepreneurs are both thrilled and nervous at the show's scope.
