CHELSEA — Police have arrested and charged a man who was named early on as a suspect in the stabbing of a man outside of a Manhattan porn shop on May 24.

Norman Croney, 20, was arrested after he was tracked down in Newark on June 6, in the murder of 28-year-old Jonathan Fonseca, of Brooklyn.

The transient suspect was returned to New York City on June 21, where the NYPD pressed the murder charge against him for the incident at Eighth Avenue and West 26th Street.

Croney allegedly stabbed Fonseca in the stomach outside of The Erotica, an adult entertainment shop, about 2 a.m. He was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Witnesses said the stabber fled after the attack, and the NYPD released Croney's photo and details on June 4 as part of a manhunt for Fonseca's killer.
