HUNTERS POINT — A new luxury building that opened this month on the Long Island City waterfront is drawing even more young families to the rapidly growing neighborhood, according to the developer.

TF Cornerstone's 4545 Center Blvd., a 41-story luxury rental that began leasing in May, has rented almost 30 percent of its apartments so far, many of them to families and young couples, according to a press release.

The company said it's leased 230 of its 820 units so far. The building is made up of studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with rents starting at $2,200 a month.

"The rapid pace of leasing thus far demonstrates yet again that Long Island City is one of the city’s strongest and most dynamic residential markets," TF Cornerstone's Sofia Estevez said in a statement.

"We are finding that residents looking for a lively community catering to an active lifestyle, with great restaurants and nightlife as well as arts and cultural attractions — and one that is just minutes to Midtown Manhattan — are quickly discovering all that Long Island City has to offer.”

What the new high-rise offers is a slew of luxurious amenities, including a 50,000-square-foot outdoor space on its seventh-floor terrace that boasts a beach volleyball court with real sand, two tennis courts, a reflecting pool, a dog run, a large lawn and a sun deck with barbecue grills and lounge areas.

The building also has a fitness center, indoor parking garage, 24-hour concierge and valet service, and a children's play center with both indoor and outdoor playgrounds.

The building at 4545 Center Blvd. is TF Cornerstone's fifth high-rise on the Long Island City waterfront. The company is currently building its sixth development at nearby 4610 Center Blvd.
