UPPER WEST SIDE — A fire broke out at a West End Avenue residential high-rise Monday evening, FDNY said.

Officials responded to the call at about 6:15 p.m., at 180 West End Ave., near West 70th Street, the FDNY said.

The building, called Lincoln Towers, is a 29-story residential complex that extends from West 66th Street to 70th Street near Lincoln Square, according to StreetEasy.com.

No residents were injured, the FDNY said, and the fire was brought under control at 7:07 p.m.

While one person was removed from the building, they weren't treated or taken to the hospital, the FDNY said.

White smoke billowed through the building's 29th floor, where the fire started, according to a 60-year-old resident who said they lived on the same floor as where the fire began.

"The hallway was smoky," said the resident who did not wish to be identified.
