GREENPOINT — North Brooklyn's development boom isn't just heating up the real estate market.
Construction sites have been a hot target for burglaries this spring, cops said, noting that one site on Eckford Street in Greenpoint was hit three times in the past month.
Workers' power tools have been stolen overnight from the Eckford Street building and from another location, said Capt. James Ryan, the commanding officer of the 94th Precinct.
Ryan declined to disclose more details on the addresses or items because he said an investigation was underway.
