WASHINGTON HEIGHTS — Cops are asking for the public's help in identifying a football jersey-clad man they say forcibly touched a woman on a Washington Heights street late last month.

According to the NYPD, the man approached the 21-year-old victim as she walked east on West 165th Street near Amsterdam Avenue at 6:15 p.m. on May 23. The man then grabbed her buttocks and fled.

The woman was uninjured, police said.

Cops described the suspect as a 30-year-old male with long curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a black-and orange Cincinnati Bengals jersey with the number 85 on it.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
