DITMARS — Astoria is getting a trendy new neighbor.
Hip consignment shop Buffalo Exchange is opening its first Queens location in the neighborhood, according to Crain's New York Business.
The 2,500-square-foot store, at 29-16 Ditmars Blvd., will be the national retailer's fifth New York City location.
The chain currently has shops in Williamsburg, Cobble Hill, Chelsea and the East Village, which sell fashionable used and vintage clothing. Customers are able to swap out their old clothes for cash or store credit.
"Buffalo Exchange stores are located in the heart of progressive, urban neighborhoods," the company writes on its website.
The Astoria location is expected to open by fall, according to Crain's.
