ASTORIA — A man posed as a potential customer to snatch two pieces of jewelry from a shop in Queens on Saturday, according to the NYPD.

Cops say the suspect entered a Zales at 31-07 Steinway St. in Astoria around 7 p.m. and asked to look at gold jewelry, only to flee with the items once the salesperson handed them over.

The suspect is described is a man in his 20s, seen wearing black work boots, and a dark green waist length jacket.
