THE BRONX — A burglar who tore through a roof to get at a Morris Heights beauty supply store's cash and merchandise was arrested Thursday thanks to an anonymous tip, cops said.
Waldi McMillian, 37, descended into Exclusive Beauty Supply Inc., at 2042 Jerome Ave., about 4 a.m. May 16, and ran off with the store's cash and a bundle of beauty products, according to the NYPD.
Investigators put out a clip of the shop's surveillance footage Wednesday which showed McMillian carrying a ladder in one hand and merchandise in the other. That prompted an anonymous tip and led to his arrest, cops said.
McMillian was arrested Thursday and is expected to be charged with burglary, police said.
