Beauty Shop Bandit Steals Store's Cash and Merchandise, Cops Say

THE BRONX — A burglar ran off with a Morris Heights beauty store's cash and merchandise after tearing a hole in the business's roof, cops said.

The bandit cut into the roof of Exclusive Beauty Supply, at 2042 Jerome Ave., about 4 a.m. May 16 and ran off with a wad of cash and a bounty of beauty supplies, according to the NYPD.

Surveillance footage released by police shows the man walking through the shop carrying his loot and a step ladder.

The suspect appears about 160 pounds, 5-feet-8-inches tall and sporting a goatee, cops said.
