School Safety Agent Arrested on Gun and Drug Charges, Police Say

BROOKLYN — A school safety agent was arrested Saturday on gun and drug charges, police said.

Christine Drayton, 56, was found to be illegally carrying a gun and was also caught with marijuana, the NYPD said.

Drayton was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of drug paraphernalia, criminal possession of marijuana and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. 

She was arrested in the 88th Precinct, which covers Fort Greene and Clinton Hill, but it was not immediately clear where she worked.
