Police Seek Suspect in Fatal Bronx Shooting of 22-Year-Old, NYPD Says

THE BRONX — Police were looking for a suspect Friday in connection with a shooting earlier in the month that left a 22-year-old man dead.

The victim, Alexis Rodriguez, was shot once in the head outside of 2123 Tiebout Ave. about 10:30 p.m. May 16, police said.

He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he survived for nearly a week, before being pronounced dead on May 22.

Police identified the suspect as Jamie Dejesus, a 25-year-old man, who is 5-foot-8 and weighs 200 pounds.
