NEW YORK CITY — Here's one way to get to the top of the marquee lights.
A 60-year-old man sitting in a chair near the window of Nathan Lane's Broadway play "The Nance" Sunday afternoon tumbled out and landed on the marquee, fire officials said.
The man, who was not identified, "lost his balance" just before 3 p.m. and fell onto the marquee of the Lyceum Theatre at 149 West 45th St. in Time Square, officials said.
Firefighters used a ladder truck to get the man down, officials said.
He was taken to Bellevue Hospital for minor injuries.
"The Nance," written by playwright Douglas Carter Beane, tells the story of Chauncey Miles, a headline performer in the underground 1930s New York burlesque scene. It was recently extended until Aug. 11.
