NEW YORK CITY — A livery cab struck and killed a man biking down a rain-slicked Eastern Parkway in front of the Brooklyn Museum early Sunday morning, authorities said.

The cab and the cyclist were both heading eastbound between Underhill and Washington avenues about 1:15 a.m. when the accident happened, cops said.

The driver of the livery car stayed at the scene and was not charged with a crime, police said.

The unidentified bicyclist was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
