NEW YORK CITY — Police arrested a man Wednesday suspected of raping a woman in Queens early Sunday morning.
Cops said Travis Wynter, 25, offered the victim a ride before parking his vehicle near an intersection in Ozone Park about 5:10 a.m.
After the victim exited the vehicle, the suspect chased her on foot to the corner of 98th Street and 97th Avenue, where he sexually assaulted her, authorities said.
The NYPD said Wynter, who lives near where the incident took place, has been charged with rape.
