NEW YORK CITY — Cops have released new footage of a man they said sexually assaulted two 7-year-old girls in South Ozone Park on May 1.

The latest footage, which shows a man in a striped shirt carrying a backpack, was recorded after the second girl was sexually assaulted in a driveway about 5:50 p.m., according to the NYPD.

About three hours before, the suspect had approached another girl who was sitting on her stoop with her 12-year-old sister and groped the younger girl's buttocks, police said.

The older sister shouted at the suspect and he fled, cops said.

Neither victim was physically injured, police said.

Police described the suspect as about 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, and in his early 20s. He was spotted wearing a blue hoodie emblazoned with white script, a striped shirt, dark pants, and carrying what appeared to be a purple backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
