QUEENS — A man chased down a 20-year-old woman and raped her on an Ozone Park street after giving her a ride in his car early Sunday morning, police said.
The suspect, described by police as a man in his 20s, drove the woman to the intersection of 98th Street and 97th Avenue, where she exited the car about 5:10 a.m., the NYPD said. The man stepped from the car moments later, walking and then running after her, the surveillance video shows.
The woman was taken to a local hospital, police said.
The man had a stocky build and was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt and blue jeans, police said.
