Man Shot to Death in Queens, Cops Say

NEW YORK CITY — A 55-year-old man was shot and killed in Queens early Friday, cops said.

Leslie Balogh, of Whitestone, had gunshot wounds to his face and chest when he was discovered in front of 31-50 137th St., in Flushing, about 1:45 a.m., according to the NYPD.

He was rushed to Flushing Hospital with multiple wounds, they added.

Balogh was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

The circumstances of the shooting were not immediately clear and cops said no arrests had been made.
