EAST VILLAGE — Police are looking for a man who allegedly sexually abused a 9-year-old girl in the East Village last month.
The suspect approached the girl on April 14 and touched her buttocks, the NYPD said.
The crime occurred within the 9th Precinct, which encompasses the area from East Houston Street to East 14th Street from Broadway to the East River.
Police described the suspect as a man between 30 and 40 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10, about 240 pounds, with graying hair. He was last seen wearing a blue long-sleeved shirt, dark jeans and glasses with white metal wire frames, police said.
