Woman Sexually Assaulted in East Harlem Building, Cops Say

HARLEM — A 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in an East Harlem building earlier this week, police said.

The victim was attacked by a man inside of a hallway in the East 106th Street building on about 2:30 a.m. Monday, cops said.

The suspect fled after the attack, according to the NYPD.

Now cops are asking for the public's help in finding the suspect. He is described as being in his mid-30's and stands about 5-feet-10-inches and weighing about 180 pounds.

The suspect, who has a goatee, was last seen wearing dark pants and a red hooded sweatshirt.
