BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A massive fire broke out Sunday evening at a private two-story home on Lexington Avenue, according to the FDNY.

More than 140 firefighters from 33 units raced to the blaze at 618 Lexington Ave., between Lewis and Stuyvesant avenues, about 6:00 p.m., a department spokesman said.

The fire, which sparked in the yard and spread to the first and second floors of the home, was under control shortly after 7:15 p.m., the spokesman said.

No injuries were reported, he added. The cause is under investigation.
