Cops Hunt Teens After Three Robberies

FORT GREENE — Police are looking for three teenagers accused of stealing phones in three separate robberies near the Whitman Houses last week.

The teens punched a 27-year-old man in the back of the head on DeKalb Avenue and Fort Greene Park and then took his phone and earrings on April 14 about 12:55 a.m., police said.

Four days later, one of the suspects punched a 14-year-old boy in the face and stole his iPhone on the corner of Myrtle Avenue and Adelphi Street about 6:45 p.m., cops said.

That same night, a 27-year-old woman had her iPhone stolen after she was approached from behind by a suspect at the corner of DeKalb Avenue and Washington Park about 7:36 p.m., police said.

The first suspect is described as between 16-19 years old and was last seen wearing black pants and a white shirt.

The second is described as in the same age range and was last seen wearing jeans and a black and yellow North Face backpack.

The third suspect is also described to be between 16 and 19, and was wearing a black sweat suit.
