NEW YORK CITY — Subway accidents on Monday night left two people hurt, officials said.
A man on the northbound platform of the 125th Street Station tried to board a 4 train, but stepped into the gap between cars about 9:30 p.m., FDNY and MTA officials said.
He was taken to Harlem Hospital Center, an FDNY spokesman said.
Just two hours later, 30-year-old's leg was pinned by a J train within the Broad Street Station, near Wall Street, an FDNY spokesman said.
The victim was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, the spokesman said.
Monday's accidents come on the heels of a spate of subway related fatalities including most recently a man who was electrocuted in the Times Square Station.
