MANHATTAN — An episode of the television show "Law & Order: SVU" involving a sniper and simulated gunfire is filming Wednesday near City Hall Park, police said.
Filming is scheduled to take place between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Elk Street between Chambers and Reade streets.
The long-running police procedural, set in a fictional version of the NYPD's 16th Precinct, is currently in its 14th season.
