SOUTH OZONE PARK — A woman walking across the Belt Parkway was struck and killed by a motorcycle just before noon Tuesday, police said.
The woman, who police said was in her 50s, was crossing the westbound lanes of the busy highway near Exit 17W at Crossbay Boulevard when a motorcycle rider hit her, police said.
The motorcyclist, a 41-year-old man, was taken to Jamaica Hospital and in critical condition, the NYPD said.
The woman's identity was not released pending family notification, police said.
