Police Seek Suspect in Park Slope iPad Theft

PARK SLOPE — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a thief who allegedly snatched an iPad from a woman on the Q train at Seventh Avenue and Flatbush Avenue.

Cops released a photo of the suspect clutching an iPad at a subway turnstile. The man struck on March 15 about 9:03 p.m., police said.

The 24-year-old victim told cops the suspect snatched a 16 GB iPad 3 from her hands as the Q train pulled into the Seventh Avenue stop, then fled the train, according to a report from the 78th Precinct.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 30-years-old, between 5-feet-8 and 5-feet-10 and about 170 pounds, with short black hair.
