UPPER WEST SIDE — A man was viciously slashed inside an Upper West Side nightclub early Friday morning, according to the FDNY.
The 30-year-old victim was sliced in the neck within Columbus 72, located at Columbus Avenue and West 72nd Street, about 2:45 a.m., NYPD and fire officials said.
The unidentified man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital, where he was expected to recover, officials said.
The circumstances of the attack remain unclear.
Management at the club could not immediately be reached for comment Friday morning.
