Woman Wanted for Purse Snatching at Astoria McDonald's, Cops Say

ASTORIA — This was an Unhappy Meal.

Cops are on the hunt for a woman who allegedly snatched a handbag off the back of a chair at a McDonald's in Queens last month.

The suspect was later captured on surveillance camera footage using the victim's credit card at the Gateway Center shopping mall in Brooklyn, cops said.

She allegedly grabbed the purse from the McDonalds at 31-67 Steinway St. in Queens on Feb. 3.
