BROOKLYN — A 48-year-old woman was found shot dead in a Bensonhurst building Wednesday afternoon, police said.
Maryanne Rinato was discovered just before 3 p.m. in a building on 19th Avenue between 67th and 68th streets with a gunshot wound to her head, the NYPD said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police were investigating the shooting as a homicide Wednesday evening.
