CARROLL GARDENS — A woman in her 60s was struck and killed by a tractor-trailer on Hamilton Avenue early Wednesday morning, police and family said.
The woman was crossing near Court Street about 6:40 a.m. and was hit by the truck, which was traveling north on Hamilton Avenue, getting caught under the wheel, according to police on scene.
She was pronounced dead on the scene.
No criminality is suspected, according to NYPD. The driver remained on scene after the accident, said police at the site.
The victim has not yet been identified, police said.
