Staten Island Worker Burned During Truck Fire

WILLOWBROOK — A worker building new dormitories at the College of Staten Island got burned while working at the site on Wednesday, fire officials said.

At about 8:57 a.m., the worker's truck caught on fire at 2800 Victory Boulevard, the FDNY said. The victim was not transported to the hospital, and emergency workers left the scene at 9:29 a.m., fire officials said.

The FDNY did not know where he was burned.
