THE BRONX — A woman wearing a fur coat and hat assaulted and robbed a livery cab driver Sunday night, cops said.

The woman hailed the livery cab about 11 p.m. near the intersection of East 145th Street and Third Avenue and asked to go to the River Park Towers at 10 Richman Plaza, approximately 4 miles away, according to the NYPD.

When she arrived she demanded money from the 28-year-old driver, assaulted him, and then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money, cops said.

She was last spotted wearing what appear to be a fur coat and a fur hat, according to a surveillance photo released by police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477).
