Police Seek Suspect in Staten Island Bank Robbery, NYPD Says

STAPLETON — Police are searching for a man accused of robbing a Staten Island bank Monday morning, the NYPD said.

The suspect passed a demand note to a teller at the Northfield Bank at 385 Bay St. near Grant Street about 9:50 a.m., police said.

The suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a dark jacket, knit cap and large white-framed sunglasses.
