Man Struck by Train at Northern Boulevard

WOODSIDE — A man was struck by a subway train at the Northern Boulevard stop in Queens Monday morning, an FDNY spokesman said.

The victim, whose age has not yet been released, was taken to Elmhurst Hospital at 5.34 a.m. in serious condition, officials say.

The incident caused delays on the M and R lines. Southbound trains were running express from Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Avenue to Queens Plaza, according to the MTA website.

Service returned to normal by about 7.30 a.m., according to the website.
