BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A longstanding dispute between two tenants of a Lewis Avenue apartment building resulted in a 56-year-old woman being stabbed to death Tuesday night, cops said.
Police found Serena Matthews about 11 p.m. inside her apartment at 44 Lewis Ave., near Myrtle Avenue, with multiple stab wounds to her torso, according to the NYPD.
She was taken to Woodhull Medical Center and pronounced dead, cops said.
Police arrested Matthews' neighbor, Markie Young, 23, on charges of second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon, they said.
