FLUSHING — Cops are investigating the death of a Queens man found with a stab wound in his Roosevelt Avenue home early Thursday.
Guang Zhe Jin, 49, was unconscious and unresponsive when authorities were called to his home at 144-47 Roosevelt Ave. about 12:30 a.m., according to the NYPD.
He had an apparent stab wound to his chest, police said.
Jin was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.
Police are still investigating the circumstances of Jin's death. No one has been arrested.
The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy, police said.
A building manager, who asked that his name not be used, said Jin had lived there with his wife and college-aged daughter a little over a year. He said the family was quiet and friendly.
"They're nice tenants, nice people," he said. "Rent [was] always on time, and they keep to themselves."
The manager added Jin, who worked in construction, kept to himself.
"They were private," the manager said of the family. "Good tenants [are] always the ones you don't notice too much."
