By Aidan Gardiner | February 7, 2013 8:58am | Updated on February 7, 2013 9:56am

EAST NEW YORK — A man dressed as a FedEx deliveryman was among a crew of thieves that robbed a Brooklyn home earlier this month, police said.

The NYPD released surveillance video that captures the first suspect, dressed in a dark coat with a FedEx logo, saunter up to the East New York home about 3:40 p.m.on Feb. 1.

When the resident opened his front door for the faux-deliveryman, four other men forced their way inside, cops said.

The five suspects then assaulted four other people inside and demanded gold and money, police said.

The suspects snatched the victims' chains and phones before fleeing the scene in a white SUV parked out front, cops said.

One of the victims, a 72-year-old man, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was treated for minor injuries, police said.

The three other victims refused medical attention at the scene.

Now cops are asking for the public's help in tracking down the suspects, whom they describe as being in their late 30s and early 40s.

Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or to visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
