The incident occurred aboard the BX42 bus near Webster Avenue and East Fordham Road about 3 p.m. on Nov. 19, 2012, according to NYPD.

The suspect snatched a woman's wallet from her handbag before calmly making his way to the back of the bus and getting off, cops said.

The thief is believed to be between 35- to 45-years-old, approximately 5-feet-11-inches tall, and weighing about 190 pounds, police said. At the time of the alleged theft, the man, who has a mustache, was wearing a dark brown Kangol hat, thick rimmed glasses, a hooded brown coat and a beige backpack, according to cops.
