TIMES SQUARE AND THEATER DISTRICT — A woman was struck by a vehicle and injured near Sixth Avenue Wednesday morning, according to the FDNY.

The victim was standing at the intersection of Avenue of the Americas and West 46th Street when about 9:20 a.m. the vehicle hit her, a fire spokesman said. 

The woman was awake and breathing, but bleeding from her nose when she was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital - Weill Cornell with non-life threatening injuries, the spokesman said.

The circumstances of the incident are unclear.
