EAST ELMHURST — Police are looking for a man they suspect of having grabbed an adolescent girl in an attempt to lure her into his SUV Friday morning, cops said.

Police said the man, described as 30 to 35 years old, sidled up in a late-model Cadillac Escalade alongside the 13-year-old girl as she was walking on Northern Boulevard near 102nd Street at 7 a.m.

The man tried to engage her in conversation, police said, and after realizing she did not know the man, the victim walked away from the car.

That's when the man left his vehicle and approached her on foot as she was walking away, grabbing her arm, cops said. The girl pulled her arm away and ran from the location, police said, but they are looking for the man, who was believed to be 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9, 170 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and a blue collared shirt.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or to visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
