Robber Hits Two Morningside Heights Banks in One Afternoon, Police Say

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS — Police are looking for a man who they say held up two Morningside Heights banks Wednesday afternoon.

The alleged robber first hit an HSBC at 2681 Broadway, on the corner on of 102nd Street, just after 2 p.m., but he failed to get any money, according to police and the New York Post.

He then hit a Bank of America at 2770 Broadway at 107th Street shortly afterward, where he made off with $400, police said.

Police did not immediately have a description of the man.
